No Ramadan for Iraqi Victims of Suicide Blast

For Iraqis trying to pick up the pieces after a devastating suicide bombing, there can be no observation of the holy month of Ramadan.

Victims lost their homes and all the comforts that go with them. On the 19th of August, a truck bomb killed about 100 persons in Baghdad and families are just now going back to the scene of painful memories in order to rebuild.

Families have abandoned hope of relocation and are having to rebuild from the ground up.

They must cook over open fires, without clean running water, making Ramadan observance impossible.
